2013 Audition Schedule

Announcing Auditions for the Baltimore Shakespeare Factory’s 2013 Season!!!

Auditions are scheduled on the following dates:

Sunday, October 28 — 3:00 to 6:00 pm
Monday, October 29 — 6:00 to 9:00 pm
Sunday, November 4 — 3:00 to 6:00 pm
Monday, November 5 — 6:00 to 9:00 pm

Auditions do not require a monologue. You will be asked to read from scenes with other actors.

Headshots and resumes are welcome, but not necessary.

Auditions will be held at:
St. Mary’s Outreach Center Theatre
3900 Roland Avenue
Baltimore, MD 21211

All roles are open and non-union.
The Baltimore Shakespeare Factory is a professional company and all roles are paid a small stipend.

BSF’s 2013 Season is as follows:
Spring Show

ROMEO & JULIET

(All shows will be performed at St. Mary’s Outreach Center.)

Text work to be held on January 26th and 27^th, 2013.

Rehearsals will begin on February 23^rd, 2013 and will run through April 4^th, 2013.

Rehearsals are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm until 10pm and on Saturdays from 10am until 4pm, except for tech week.

Performance Dates: April 5, 2013 through April 28^th, 2013 (Most performances are scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, however 2 matinee performances are scheduled for 10 am on Wednesday, April 10^th and Wednesday, April 17th).

Summer Shows

(Most summer performances will be outdoors at Evergreen Museum & Library. A few shows will be performed indoors at St. Mary’s.)

HAMLET

Text work to be held on May 11^th and May 12^th, 2013.

Rehearsals will begin on May 28th, 2013 and will run through July 11^th, 2013.

Rehearsals are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm until 10pm and on Saturdays from 10am until 4pm, except for tech week.

Performance Dates: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from July 12^th-August 4th.

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

Text work to be held on June 8^th and June 9^th, 2013.

Rehearsals will begin on June 21st, 2013 and will run through August 1^st, 2013.

Rehearsals are scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7pm until 10pm and on Saturdays from 10am until 4pm, except for tech week.

Performance Dates: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from August 2^nd through August 25th.
