Internship Program

Last year three students were enrolled in this program, and this year we have two interns. Interns are generally members of The Rude Mechanicals troupe and they work in association with the Century High Careers Connections program and The Shakespeare Factory. Students work on creating workshops for our education program, plan and promote our summer camp, and create lessons for elementary and middle school students which they take to local feeder schools and teach. Our 2006 interns served as interns for The Baltimore Shakespeare Festival, and our 2007 interns, Celia Croft and Andrea Irons, served as interns for the Maryland Ensemble Theatre.

Scholarship Program

In the past two years we have awarded $5,000 in scholarships to Rude Mechanicals graduates in the past two years. Applications for the scholarship can be downloaded from the The Community Foundation of Carroll County website.
