Education Department – provide internships and conduct lessons at local schools, retirement homes, public libraries, and for the community at-large. If you would like to have Shakespeare-related lectures, workshops, or performances for your group or organization, we would be glad to structure something that meets your wishes. We also have awarded $5,000 in scholarships to graduating Rude Mechanicals members during the past two years.
Acting Apprenticeships – For current College students we offer Acting Apprenticeships with our adult company. Apprentices are selected by audition. Once selected they are then set up with a role in the current production and a mentor from The Shakespeare Factory Player’s professional core ensemble. The mentor will offer one on one coaching on the actor’s role and offer a guide to the professional world of theatre. For more information or to audition please email only.
