The Baltimore Shakespeare Factory’s Players try their luck with the famously cursed Scottish play, Macbeth!
(Baltimore, Maryland) The Baltimore Shakespeare Factory (BSF) is thrilled to be bringing the Bard back to Baltimore with an engaging production of his popular tragedy Macbeth. From April 12th to 28th BSF will perform at The Great Hall Theatre at St. Mary’s Outreach Center AND offer tour stops in Carroll and Prince George’s County. Through the BSF’s use of Shakespearean Staging Conditions the audience will enter the world of the play as, not just observers, but participants! BSF’s focus on Shakespeare’s language ensures that all audience members will understand the twists and turns of this supernatural thriller and find some unexpected moments of humor! Performances at The Great Hall will also feature BSF’s “Adoptable Pets Onstage” program (in conjunction with the Baltimore County Humane Society.) Each night will showcase some terrific animals “waiting in the wings” for a forever home at the Humane Society Shelter. BSF encourages audience members to join us 30 minutes prior to Curtain for Preshow entertainment and Ensemble Interaction!
The Production is directed by Shakespeare Factory Artistic Director Tom Delise. Ensemble Members include:
(BSF Company Members)- Kerry Brady, Kelly Dowling, Barbara Madison Hauck, Rick Lyon-Vaiden, Jenn Mikulski, Ian Blackwell Rogers, Joey Sauthoff, Jim Stimson, Kristina Szilagyi, Frank Vince AND Katheryn Zoerb.
